A video of Punjab’s technical education minister Charanjit Singh Channi flipping a coin to settle a job posting row is going viral on social media. According to reports, two polytechnic teachers, seeking a posting at ITI, Bareta in Patiala, allegedly asked the minister to sort out the issue. While one claimed to have high scores, another said he is experienced, claim reports. The two men then allegedly agreed to the minister tossing a coin. There was nothing wrong, the minister said when contacted, adding, “The teachers went back happily. They thought they were treated fairly,” reports added.
