Two college girls accompanied by their male friends were reportedly assaulted by a group of men in Nisargadhama zoo in Mangalore where they had gone to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The assaulters have been detained but they have not yet been interrogated. A police officer was quoted as saying, “It is not clear if the suspects are affiliated with any political organisation as yet.”
