MAN SHOOTS PARENTS, PREGNANT WIFE, SON AND KILL SELF IN RESORT; POLICE IN ACTION!

In a sad and shocking case, a 38-year-old man in Karnataka's Chamarajnagar district shot his parents, pregnant wife and son. Soon after killing them he shot himself on early Friday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Om Prakash Bhattacharya (38), his wife Nikitha (30), son Arya Krishna (4), his parents, Nagaraja Bhattacharya (65) and Hema (60).

This shocking tragedy took place in Gundlupet. The family hailed from Mysuru and had come to Gundlupet where they were reportedly staying at a resort owned by Om Prakash's friend.

As per police investigation, they reveal that debts following heavy loss in business could be the reason behind the man killing his entire family and himself.

Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police (SP), Chamarajnagar, HD Ananda Kumar told media that, "a man committed suicide and murdered four others from his family. He was a businessman. He was under depression after suffering losses. A case has been registered and a team has been formed to investigate the matter."

"The head of the family Om Prakash shot them all in their forehead before shooting himself in the mouth. There appears to be consent as no sign of resistance was found. Further investigations are on," the SP further added.

They all were found dead in a field near a resort where they were staying. At around 3:00 am, the family went to the nearby agriculture land where the horrific incident took place, police investigation further revealed.
