An agitated milkman set his Royal Enfield motorbike on fire after traffic cops stopped him and asked him to show his bike documents. While no injuries were reported, the fire created panic among commuters and shopkeepers.
Onlookers recorded the bizarre act and the footage soon become viral on social media. In the footage, a man in his early 30s wearing a camouflage T-shirt and a black scarf wrapped around his neck can be seen getting angry while a traffic cop is standing nearby with an e-challan machine in his hand.
The man, who hasn't been identified yet, had two milk containers strapped to his bike. He was stopped by traffic cops for not having the mandatory high-security number plate.
Om Namah Shivaye’ was written on the rear number plate in red, which is not allowed as per the norms. He wasn’t wearing a helmet either. A traffic police officer briefed him about his violations — illegal number plates and driving without a helmet — and asked him to show his bike’s documents.
Instead of showing the documents, the milkman got angry. He pulled out the pipe connecting the fuel tank with the bike engine and set his bike on fire. Taking advantage of the commotion, the milkman fled the spot.
