A 25-year-old man, painter by profession, lost his eyesight in one eye as a rocket hit directly into his eye. Reportedly, the man was admitted to a hospital where the doctors said they cannot help him to get his eyesight back. Similarly, an 8-year-old boy suffered burnt injuries on his thigh as he put an incense stick accidently in his pocket that was filled with crackers. According to media reports, eight people have been injured severely during Diwali.
