A pond in Ranchi turned inflammable as it suffered from seepage of chemicals and lubricants. It caught fire on Sunday when a resident lit a matchstick on it. The mayor, who had come for inspection, was present when the pond caught fire. The mayor reportedly said that she will take steps and ask the authorities to close the disastrous pond.
