Home > News Shots > IndiaA 37-year-old salesman in Delhi allegedly killed his wife after getting frustrated over periodic fights with his wife. Officials revealed on Tuesday that he dumped the body and filed a missing complaint with the police.
The killer has been identified as Sudhir, a resident of Anand Parbat Area in Central Delhi. He went to the police station along with his children on Saturday night and filed a report that his 33-year-old wife has gone missing.
During Investigation, Sudhir’s version of events and statements contradicted his call records which sparked suspicion.
When he was interrogated by the police, he reportedly broke down and confessed to killing his wife. The police subsequently arrested him.
Sudhir revealed to the police that he murdered his wife because they were fighting over petty issues very frequently.
“He took her to Narela on the pretext of shopping and strangled her to death with her chunni (shawl). Sudhir then dumped the body in a drain and fled,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (central) Sanjay Bhatia told Times Now.
The body was recovered in a decomposed state from Narela area, he added.
