MAN COMPLAINS OF PAIN; DOCTORS SHOCKED TO SEE WHAT'S INSIDE HIS STOMACH

In a shocking and bizarre case from Ahmedabad's civil hospital, doctors who performed an operation were shocked to see at least 452 metal items that weighed almost 4 kgs were found in a man's stomach.

Items that were found in his stomach were; nail-cutters, safety pins, nuts and bolts as well as coins.

According to India Today reports, the 28-year-old man was suffering from mental illness. He was admitted to the civil hospital from a mental institution after he complained of a stomach ache. He was eating the metal items since the past seven or eight months.

A team of doctors, who did an X-ray were shocked with the reports that detected metal items in his stomach, India Today further reported.

Hours after the X-ray report, the medical experts immediately performed a surgery for almost three hours and recovered the items.

While speaking to ANI, Dr Kalpesh Parmar of Ahmedabad’s Civil Hospital said that we operated him on August 9. We found multiple foreign bodies in the stomach such as coins, pins, spring, earrings, spark plugs and sharp pins. It was almost 3.5 kg of metal:.

"The man is suffering from Schizophrenia. Currently, the patient is stable but we have kept him under observation," the doctor added.
