Recently, the Bombay High Court received a strange plea for divorce from a man who complained that his employed wife was not waking up early and cooking tasty food. After the local family court dismissed the same plea, the man went to the high court. Both the sides presented solid evidence and the court still dismissed the appeal. Reportedly, it observed, "One can't lose sight of the fact that the respondent herself was a working woman who, in addition to her job, had the additional task of cooking each morning and evening, of buying vegetables, and groceries on her way home from work."
