In an election-related rally in Gujarat, which is presently in polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Pakistan had a hand in fixing the election results. This resulted in a huge backlash from the Pakistan government, which retorted that India needs to fix its own issues than looking for others to blame. The latest to join the brigade of ones giving brickbats to the PM is former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who called for Modi to apologise for his inappropriate and ill-thought statement.
