Police averted a major disaster when they removed 300kg of explosives from Vandithavalam near Sabarimala. Police rushed to the spot when they received a tip-off about the explosives hidden under the ground and carefully removed them, say reports. Security personnel have been deployed in large numbers following terror threat. Police have been investigating the matter from multiple angles.
