The family of a teenage girl from Latur, Maharashtra, who was allegedly raped by a soldier, has claimed that the victim’s school has expelled her. The girl was quoted saying - “My school has suspended my admission saying their reputation can be tarnished if I continue to study here,” Her uncle said a team of policemen had arrived at the school to verify her age after the complaint was registered. Shortly after that, the school authorities had called the family and asked them to collect the girl’s transfer certificate.
