BJP leader Arun Shourie on Friday reportedly met the media and said that "I made too many mistakes— by supporting (former prime minister) VP Singh who led the Janata Dal and then by supporting Narendra Modi. Do not believe that leaders will suddenly change when they come to power." He mentioned this in the sixth Khushwant Singh Literary Festival at Kasauli. According to media reports, he mentioned that he castigated the government over its job claims between January and April this year and 1.5 million jobs have been lost.
