'Love jihad' case: "Nobody forced me to convert" says Hadiya

Hadiya, known as Akhila before she converted to Islam, has reportedly left for Delhi along with a police escort. She was quoted as saying that no one forced her to convert and that she wanted to live with her husband. In May, the Kerala High Court annulled her marriage on the grounds of it being a case of “forced conversion” and ordered her to live with her parents. Her husband challenged the High Court order by approaching the Supreme Court, which will hear the case on November 27.
