The Kannada Development Authority on Tuesday ordered all nationalised, rural and scheduled banks in the state to ensure that their employees must learn Kannada within six months, failing which they will be terminated from service. Meanwhile, the banks have been asked to set up Kannada learning centres within the branch premises. Further, the KDA also mandated that banks follow the three-language policy.
