Lalu Prasad Yadav gets 3 and half years in jail

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad has been sentenced to 3 and half years in jail in the fodder scam case on Saturday. The court further imposed a fine of ₹5 lakh each on the convicts. The Rs 89 lakh fodder scam was exposed in 1996, leading to Yadav's resignation as the Bihar CM.
