KOTAK MAHINDRA SACKS MAN FOR INSENSITIVE COMMENT ON KATHUA CASE

Vishnu Nandakumar, an employee at Kotak Mahindra from Kerala was allegedly sacked for commenting insensitively on a Facebook post about the Kathua rape case. He had commented, "Good that she was killed at this age itself. Otherwise she would have grown up and come back as a suicide bomber against India."
Following the comment, there was heavy outcry from the public demanding his termination. People even threatened to close their accounts if action was not taken. Kotak Mahindra later announced that Vishnu Nandakumar was sacked.
