A man from Kolkata had called up the Flipkart helpline to complain about the order he received but was welcomed with a message to join BJP instead. The customer had allegedly ordered two sets of headphones to watch FIFA but ended up getting a bottle of oil instead.
He had immediately called up the helpline printed on the package to complain. Reportedly, the phone call disconnected after a ring and the man received a 'Join BJP' text message. Allegedly, the same thing happened when he tried again and had his friends try.
The customer finally found the correct helpline and reached Flipkart. The helpline on the package was reportedly surrendered three years ago.
