Teacher who compared women’s breasts with melons held

Jauhar Munnavir, a professor at Farook Training College in Kerala's Kozhikode district, made an offensive remark against women during his public speech a few days back. He compared womens’ breasts to sliced melons. The professor now faces charges under IPC sections 354A and section 509 after the Koduvally police on Thursday filed a case against the social science professor. He is now reportedly taken into police custody for enquiry.
