PREGNANT WOMAN CARRIED ON STRETCHER FOR 7 KM TO REACH HOSPITAL

According to reports, a pregnant woman from Pallakad, Kerala had to be carried in a makeshift stretcher for 7 km so as to reach the hospital to deliver. The 27-year-old woman was carried in a stretcher made out of logs and a bedsheet.
The incident was aired by many television channels, videos of which went viral on social media. Reportedly, the woman was taken to a government tribal hospital where she gave birth to a baby girl.
