Following the murder of a 14-year-old boy in Kollam district in Kerala, his mother who was the prime suspect in the case was arrested on Thursday. Reports say, in a fit of anger over an argument, the mother strangled her son and suffocated him to death. The boy went missing on Monday and his body was found in a charred state on Wednesday. Police said the woman has confessed to the crime and they are investigating the motive behind the murder.
