COURT DENIES BAIL TO JUVENILE ACCUSED IN KATHUA CASE

A local court in Kathua denied bail to the juvenile accused of the Kathua rape and murder case. Reportedly, the minor played a key role in the rape of the eight-year-old girl. The accused had moved the court for bail as soon as a chargesheet was filed against him by the Crime Branch. However, on Tuesday, Kathua Chief Judicial Magistrate dismissed the bail plea.

According to reports, two separate chargesheets were filed by the Crime Branch- one against the seven adults involved and one against the juvenile.
