India and Pakistan will sign the agreement for Kartarpur Corridor, Today, at the zero-point near Dera Baba Nanak. Islamabad had demanded US $20 service charge for using the corridor.
The corridor will connect India's Dera Baba Nanak shrine and Pakistan's Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartapur. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Indian side of the corridor on November 8, Pakistan will open it a day later, ahead of 550th birthday celebrations of Guru Nanak.
Indians travelling through the corridor do not need to carry a visa but should have a passport.
Kartarpur Gurudwara is one of the sacred sights for Sikhs as Guru Nanak Dev Ji spent the last 18 years of his life there. It's located in Pakistan, just a few kilometres away from the International border. So far, Sikhs from India are worshipping the Gurudwara through telescope.
