Court orders FIR against Hardik Pandya

A special SC/ST court in Jodhpur on Wednesday reportedly directed the Rajasthan Police to register an FIR against all-rounder Hardik Pandya over his controversial tweet on Dr BR Ambedkar. An advocate named DR Meghwal filed the petition against Pandya in the Jodhpur court and said that Pandya’s comment insulted Ambedkar and hurt the sentiments of the people of his community. The cricketer reportedly wrote on Twitter, “Which Ambedkar ??? The one who drafted a cross law and constitution or the one who spread the disease called reservation in the country.”
