Executive Vice President at Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), Shigeki Maeda, reportedly announced that the country will open its doors to about two lakh IT professionals from India to support their IT infrastructure. The government will also provide green cards for the IT professionals to settle down in Japan. He also added that the demand may expand to eight lakh IT professionals by 2030.
