According to reports, an avalanche struck a car at Sadhna Top in Kupwara district of Kashmir at around 4:00 PM this afternoon. Police, State Disaster Response Force and Mountain Rescue teams have begun rescue operations to find the eight missing people. A Border Roads Organisation personnel from the same area is also reported to be missing due to the avalanche.
