ISRO CONFIRMS LOSING CONTACT WITH COMMUNICATION SATELLITE GSAT-6A

Indian Space Research Organisation on Saturday lost contact with the GSAT-6A, India’s most powerful communication satellite. Reportedly, the contact was lost in less than 48 hours after it was launched on Thursday.
The GSAT-6A is communications satellite that will largely be used for defence purposes. The satellite cost ISRO about Rs 270 crore.
