Infant found dead after snatched by monkeys in Odisha

According to reports, a 16-day-old baby boy thought to be snatched by monkeys in Odisha was found dead inside a well. Allegedly, the baby was sleeping inside a mosquito net when he was snatched by a rhesus macaque on March 31.

 

The baby's parents along with forest officials launched a search party to find the boy. He was discovered dead inside a well on Sunday. Reportedly, the boy died of asphyxiation and there were no marks on him.
