INDIGO PASSENGER THROWN OUT OF FLIGHT FOR COMPLAINING OF MOSQUITOES

A Bengaluru-based heart surgeon was reportedly off-loaded from an Indigo flight after he complained of mosquitoes on flight 6E 541 at Lucknow airport, say reports. Doctor Saurabh Rai was scheduled to fly from Lucknow to Bengaluru when the incident happened. The airline alleged that he used “threatening language” and words such as “hijack”. The surgeon alleged that he was manhandled and was even threatened when he raised an objection to the presence of mosquitoes.
