According to Global technology market analyst Canalys reports, India became the second largest smartphone market overtaking the US. China holds the top spot as the world’s largest smartphone market. Canalys reported that the total smartphone shipments in India reached 40 million units in Q3 as 46.5% of them accounted to Samsung and Xiaomi. India’s smartphone market is growing by 23 percent year-over-year.
