Slamming the one paisa cut in fuel prices, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said that it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s idea of a “prank”, it was “childish and in poor taste”.
Petrol and diesel prices were cut by one paisa per litre each. After the Indian Oil Corporation announced 60 paisa cut in petrol and diesel prices, the website of India’s biggest oil making company was revised in few hours and the price cut was changed to one paisa.
Dear PM,
— Rahul Gandhi (@RahulGandhi) May 30, 2018
You've cut the price of Petrol and Diesel today by 1 paisa. ONE paisa!??
If this is your idea of a prank, it’s childish and in poor taste.
P.S. A ONE paisa cut is not a suitable response to the #FuelChallenge I threw you last week. https://t.co/u7xzbUUjDS
