As per a report in the Deccan Chronicle, Ranish, a student at the University of Hyderabad, was arrested on Thursday for forcing a fellow classmate into unnatural sex. The victim was reported as saying that Ranish forced himself on the former before he could even react.  Police registered a case under Section 377 of IPC (unnatural offences) and an investigation is underway.
