The parents of a deceased 7-year-old alleged that they weren’t allowed to take their child’s body till they paid Rs 18 lakh bill to the hospital. The child reportedly died of dengue at Gurgaon’s Fortis Hospital and the issue caught the attention of Union Health Minister J P Nadda after which he assured support in a tweet on Monday.

The hospital, however, claimed that all standard protocols were followed.
