With the rise of price in Jet fuel, the central government will reportedly increase the price of 14.2 kg cooking gas (LPG) by Rs 1.50 per cylinder. The previous hike was implemented just a month back, on September 1 by Rs 7. On August 1, the rates of LPG were increased by Rs 2.31. Earlier the government had decided to eliminate cooking gas subsidy by March 2018, by increasing the rate of cooking gas.
