Republic TV’s Arnab Goswami, after watching the controversial Padmavati starring Deepika Padukone at a special screening arranged for journalists, has expressed his opinion on this film. Calling it a three hours of “beautiful episode”, Arnab said the film is the greatest ever tribute to Rajput pride. Stating that every scene in the film is a tribute to Rani Padmavati’s greatness, he added that the Rajput outfit Karni Sena will be “left looking utterly foolish.” Further, he claimed that there is not even a single frame in the film where Rani Padmavati (Deepika Padukone) and Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh) are seen together. Not even one scene in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film needs censor’s scissor, he added.
