HEART-WRENCHING: MY UNCLE AND COUSIN MOLESTED ME: 15-YR-OLD WRITES IN ANSWER SHEET

In a horrific case reported in Haryana’s Gurgaon district, a 15-year-old girl has accused her uncle and a minor cousin of sexually molesting her in an answer sheet during an examination in her school, which led to the arrest of the 23-year-old uncle and cousin of the Class 10 student, from a village near Badshahpur, on Wednesday.

A case was registered on Tuesday against the accused under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the uncle was sent to jail while the 16-year-old cousin was remanded to a correctional home in Faridabad.

The girl in her complaint said she was allegedly assaulted by her cousin, a Class 11 student who lives in the same house as her’s and also alleged that her uncle (son of her grandfather’s sister), a next door neighbour and a frequent visitor to her house had groped and touched her inappropriately.

The minor and her family are receiving counselling.
