2-YEAR-OLD RAPED AND MURDERED IN GUJARAT

According to reports, a 2-year-old girl was raped and murdered in Gujarat’s Morbi district. This comes as the latest incident in the series of sexual assaults on children in Gujarat.

“The little one had gone missing late on Wednesday night from the quarter that the migrant family, working as laborers, had been allotted at one of the ceramic tiles factories here. Her body was later recovered from a nearby pond located on Jetpar road late on Thursday evening,’’ a Morbi Police official reportedly said.

Reportedly, the police are waiting for the postmortem report to know the exact cause of the girl's death. The accused is under hiding.
