GUJARAT: 19 KILLED AFTER TRUCK LOADED WITH CEMENT OVERTURNS

In a shocking incident in Gujarat’s Bhavnagar district, at least 19 people were killed after a truck carrying cement bundles overturned turtle on Bhavnagar-Ahmedabad highway on Saturday. About seven others were injured in the incident, which took place near Bavalyali village. Reports suggest that the truck overturned and fell into a ditch.

Local police and district officials rushed to the spot to carry out rescue operations. The injured passengers have been taken to a government hospital in Bavayali village. Authorities recovered the bodies of the deceased to be sent for an autopsy. The driver of the truck fled the spot following the gory incident.
