According to reports, the government is planning to make Aadhaar compulsory for real estate deals. The move is said to be an effort to curb the use of black money for transactions in property dealings. Aadhaar-based authentication could be made mandatory at the time of registration of documents such as sale, purchase, and transfer of property.
