The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology reportedly issued an order on Wednesday extending the deadline for obtaining Aadhaar for availing government schemes and subsidies by three months to December 31. However, the extension is available for only those who are yet to apply of Aadhaar, the order reportedly said. Reportedly, as many as 135 schemes will be covered by the extension.
