The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday made an important announcement regarding conduct of exam, nodal exam centre, eligibility to change of centre for the remaining class 10 and 12 examination on its official website.
As per the latest update, CBSE exams will be held in the respective schools of the candidates instead of the exam venues that were allotted earlier. However, the board will permit students to change the venue if candidates have shifted and are residing in other districts of the country.
One school among the schools that CBSE is affiliated with, within each district will be fixed as the nodal examination centre for the candidate who shifted from their earlier district.
The Board has also released eligibility for making a request for change of examination centre. Separate categories have been listed for regular and private candidates.
The board also clarified that examination centres will not be allotted in containment zones. If the school is falling under containment zone, a different venue will be allotted for candidates who belong to that school.
As far as students studying in CBSE affiliated schools outside India are concerned, examinations will not be conducted for them because of restrictions imposed by their government
CBSE has scheduled to conduct the remaining class 10 and 12 Board Exams from July 1- 15.
