FED UP OVER DRUNK TOURISTS, VILLAGERS DEMAND CLOSURE OF BARS

Upset with the behaviour of drunk tourists, the residents of Surla village in North Goa have demanded that the bars in the area should be either closed or relocated, says a report in The Indian Express.
The villagers claimed that tourists have been harassing them and even engaging in fights with bar owners and alcohol vendors.
Reportedly, a resolution has been signed by 500 villagers to close the bars.
