In a sad and shocking case, an 18-year-girl, was rescued by the police from Assam's Tinsukia district after she was thrown off the train by her 25-year-old husband.
The girl has been identified as Baby while her husband's name is Hira. This incident took place after the couple eloped and tied the knot.
As per Times of India (ToI) report, the girl was first thrown off the speeding train by her husband and then he too jumped. When the police was alerted about the incident, they found the couple in an unconscious state lying on the railway tracks. The couple was then immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.
While talking to ToI, the girl alleged that her husband had thrown her off a speeding train and then jumped off after her. "I used to receive calls from an unknown number for around three months. Eventually, I started talking to the caller (Hira) and then fell in love with him. We then decided to get married. On July 26, Hira reached Tinsukia and I eloped with him. We reached Patna the next day, stayed in a hotel for two days and got married in a temple on July 29," the girl told ToI.
She further stated that on Tuesday, they both boarded a Moradabad-bound train and as soon as the train crossed Bareilly, her husband threw her off. She is said to be in a critical condition.
