A Jet Airways flight 9W825 was reportedly averted on Monday after passengers overheard the alleged hijackers’ plan. The passengers were detained at Cochin airport and the airlines reportedly informed authorities for further investigation. Reportedly, after investigation, it was found to be a prank attempt by VJ Vargese that went wrong. He is currently in police custody and expected to be out on bail on Tuesday.
