First in country, Bengaluru gets two child-friendly courts

According to reports, Karnataka's first child-friendly courts were inaugurated in Bengaluru on Saturday in order to create a comfortable atmosphere for child victims during the trial, as required under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Interestingly. the two court halls are separated by a one-way glass shield that insulates the victim-child from seeing the accused.
