FARMERS TO STOP SUPPLY OF MILK, VEGETABLES IN CITIES ACROSS INDIA FROM JUNE 1

To protest against the hike of Petrol and Diesel prices, the farmers in Chandigarh will not be supplying milk and vegetables to cities across India from June 1 to 10.
If people whant to buy any of these commodities they will have to go to the villages and buy them at the rates farmers demand. This decision has been taken under the slogan, "Villages are closed and farmers are on leave."
Farmers have welcomed people to the villages from urban areas to buy any commodities they want. The farmers reportedly claimed that it will be beneficial for both farmers and buyers as the rates will be much cheaper.
