Bollywood actor-director Farhan Akhtar on Tuesday took to Twitter to announce that he deleted his Facebook account amidst the growing outcry over privacy concerns following the Cambridge Analytica scandal. Earlier, celebrities such as Elon Musk, Cher and Jim Carrey deleted their accounts due to the heightened sensitivity over abuse of personal data.
