FAKE WHATSAPP FORWARD EFFECT: TRANSGENDER WOMAN BEATEN TO DEATH

In yet another incident of mob attack, a transgender woman has been killed by a mob on the basis of fake WhatsApp rumors. In Hyderabad’s old city area, a group of transgender women was reportedly attacked by a mob who believed that the gang was out to kidnap children.

According to TNM, the mob got carried away with a fake WhatsApp forward message and attacked the gang. The incident took place in Chandrayangutta. After the mob attacked the gang, they were shifted to Osmania General Hospital where one of them succumbed to her injuries.
