SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT WAS TAKING THE DRUG 'CHARAS' - EX-BODYGUARD REVEAL DETAILS
Home > News Shots > IndiaWhile the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is probing Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case from the drug angle, the actor’s former bodyguard, Mushtaq has told that the actor was very addicted to charas and marijuana.
According to India Today’s report, Mushtaq stated that the actor was consuming an expensive variety of imported charas white attending private parties and while he was travelling in car. He was a part of the actor’s personal security team nine months before he lef thte job in February last year.
Mushtaq reportedly also stated that he warned one of Rajput's managers about charas abuse. "I told him that this (addiction) would lead (Rajput) to mental disturbance. But he (the manager) told me it (the charas) was not something of an ordinary Indian variety. It was expensive," the actor's ex-bodyguard said.
He also added that Sushant would ask three or four of his personal staff to roll charas joints for him. "We had instructions not to leave any trace of it (charas) in the car for fears of being caught during checking," he said.
While being asked about Sushant Singh Rajput’s temperament, he said, "Nobody could predict his mood. While on shoots, he could ask for anything and lose his cool if he didn't get it. He would cancel shoots abruptly because of his mood. This happened many times. Shoots would be cancelled despite the sets in place," Mushtaq claimed.
He also mentioned that he saw the late actor firing four or five of his personal staff members for no fault of theirs.
Mushtaq admitted that he spoke highly about Rajput on other media platforms earlier. "I can't say everything in interviews. I would only praise him falsely. Else, people would burn my effigy. I am asking for God's forgiveness now," he said.
