PM Modi on Sunday took to Twitter to claim that all the villages in India have access to electricity now after Manipur's Leisang village got electricity on Saturday (April 28). Leisang, a village in central Manipur's Senapati district, is the last village to receive electricity at 5.30 pm on Saturday, say reports. Calling it a historic day, Modi wrote, “I am delighted that every single village of India now has access to electricity.”
28th April 2018 will be remembered as a historic day in the development journey of India. Yesterday, we fulfilled a commitment due to which the lives of several Indians will be transformed forever! I am delighted that every single village of India now has access to electricity.
